He opened Take Care with other like minded therapists with the desire to offer high quality, compassionate, intuitive and professional bodywork treatments. He is at his best when he can customize a balanced bodywork treatment to suit his clients needs.
Leilani Lee Silverman is the Co-Owner of Take Care – A Therapeutic Massage Studio and has worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. Gaining a myriad of experiences at the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay and the Four Seasons in Westlake Village, she was excited to open Take Care with her husband, Michael Silverman. A Pastry Chef by trade and a Financial Analyst by profession, Leilani saw the benefits of Massage Therapy when Michael started working on her brother Robert, who has cerebral palsy, spasmodic torticollis (wry neck), mild mental retardation and epilepsy. Amazed at how extremely well Robert responded to bodywork treatments, Leilani saw the healing nature and power that massage had. Realizing the potential for Michael to help others in a similar fashion, Leilani was determined to help her husband create a space where people, able mind and bodied or not, could get restorative massages. With the combination of complementary skills, Michael and Leilani opened Take Care – A Therapeutic Massage Studio.
